Pell Named CSAC Athlete of the Week

Penn State Behrend women’s track and field athlete Rachel Pell has been named Colonial States Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week, announced on Tuesday.

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's track and field athlete Rachel Pell (Elizabeth, PA/Elizabeth Forward) has been named Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Track Athlete of the Week, announced on Tuesday.

Pell set a new Behrend school record in the 400m hurdles with a winning mark of 61.95 seconds at the Ashland Alumni Open, ranking it the eighth best time in Division III this season. She continued on the day to take 13th in the 200m run at 26.95, marking the second best time in the CSAC in this event.
