The Penn State Behrend women’s track& field team is one out of 111 Division III programs to be named a 2011 All-Academic Track & Field team by the U.S Track& Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Penn State Behrend graduated senior Liz Keller has earned the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Female Faculty Athletic Representative Award for the 2010-11 academic year.

After an impressive third place finish at the 2011 Mason Dixon Conference Championships (MDC) and a strong showing at this year’s ECAC Tournament, the Penn State Behrend women’s track & field squad announced their team awards.

A few Lions represented the Penn State Behrend track and field team at the 2011 ECAC Outdoor Championships held at Moravian, Thursday and Friday.

The Penn State Behrend track & field team will compete at the 2011 ECAC Division IIII Outdoor Championships on Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20 at Moravian College’s Rocco Calvo Field & Timothy Breidegam Track.

A few of Penn State Behrend’s top women track and field athletes competed at the annual Gator Invitational held at Allegheny, Saturday.

Katie Monoskey was named the Mason Dixon Conference’s (MDC) 2011 Outstanding Outdoor Female Field Athlete of the Year after her performances at the conference championships held at Christopher Newport, this weekend.

Jenna Fatica led the Penn State Behrend track and field team to a third-place finish at the 2011 Mason Dixon Conference Championships being held at Christopher Newport, Friday and Saturday.

The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team competed at the Westminster Mini-Meet on Thursday, to get ready for their trip to Newport News, VA for the 2011 Mason Dixon Conference Championships.

The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team finished fifth out of 13 teams at the Westminster Invitational, Saturday, posting a team score of 69 points.

The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team placed third at the Quad Meet Invitational, Saturday, hosted by Carnegie Mellon.

The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field program finished third at the 2011 Washington and Jefferson Invitational, Saturday in a field of 16.
The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field program had an excellent open to their 2011 outdoor season setting a few records at the Bill Van Horne Invitational hosted by Wheeling Jesuit, Saturday.

ERIE, Pa. - Over the past few years, the Penn State Behrend track and field program has seen many school records broken as athletes continue to improve and contend for ECAC and NCAA qualifying marks. They have had great success in the past, but with the addition of this year’s freshmen class, the coaching staff feels the team can make a push to become one of the conference’s most elite programs.

The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field squad announced its awards for the 2011 indoor season. The awards went to the Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player, Rookie of the Year, and to the Leadership and Scholarship Award winner.

The Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team completed a successful indoor season at Coastal Carolina, Saturday.
