O'Driscoll Joins USA D-3 Women’s Soccer Brazil Tour 2025

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend head women's soccer coach Patrick O'Driscoll will be spending the next nine days coaching the USA D-3 Soccer Team on the 2025 Brazil Tour.

The USA D-3 Soccer Team is comprised of NCAA Division III women's players from across the country.  This team is made up of student-athletes recognized as All-Americans, All--Region, and All-Conference selections.  The 17 women's players hail from nine different schools and nine different states.  This team comes from coast-to-coast representing almost every part of the USA.

The USA D-3 Soccer tour will run from May 26 through June 4.  The team will begin with orientation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on before flying to Sao Paulo, Brazil to play in the city of Jundiai on May 27.  They will travel to the city of Sao Paulo and play at the Pinheiros Clube on May 28 and then fly to Rio de Janeiro on May 29.  While in Rio, the team will play two additional matches on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday.  They will play a total of four matches while in Brazil. 

The team will also experience educational, cultural, and social aspects of Brazilian life through city, school, and sports club visits.  While in Rio, the team will be staying on the world-famous Copacabana Beach and touring the Christ the Redeemer Statue and Sugar Loaf Mountain, The Maracana Stadium, three of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
