Women's Soccer Lands USC Region VII Staff of the Year Honor
The Penn State Behrend women's soccer staff have been named the 2024 United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division III Women Region VII Staff of the Year.
ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's soccer staff have been named the 2024 United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division III Women Region VII Staff of the Year.
The award recognizes head coach Patrick O'Driscoll, the assistant coaches Kodie Johnson, Katie Giles Kasprzak and Jordan Oberlander. The 2024 season was O'Driscoll's 19th season with the Lions.
This fall, the coaching staff led the team to an 18-3 (8-0 AMCC) record and secured the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship. Behrend, the AMCC Regular-Season Champions, was regionally ranked and nationally ranked as high as 22nd in the October 29th poll.
Statistically, O'Driscoll and his staff created a team that outscored their opponents 77-10. In addition to being dominant offensively, the defense recorded 13 shutouts through 21 games.
