Women's Soccer Defeats No. 8 John Carroll in HLM Championship

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's soccer team defeated No. 8 John Carroll 1-0 in the championship game of the annual Herb Lauffer Memorial Soccer Tournament on Sunday night.

* The Lions open the season with a pair of wins, including one against a nationally-ranked team
* Senior defender Nicole Croushore (Smithton, PA/Yough) scored her second game-winning goal of the weekend, netting the lone tally in the 23^rd minute
