Lions Close Out Year With Win Over Hiram
Aly Eagle went 4-for-6 from three-point range for a season high of 18 points to lead Penn State Behrend to a 60-48 victory over Hiram in non-conference women's basketball action on Sunday afternoon.

HIRAM, Ohio, - Aly Eagle went 4-for-6 from three-point range for a season high of 18 points to lead Penn State Behrend to a 60-48 victory over Hiram in non-conference women's basketball action on Sunday afternoon.
Holly Bourquin and Julia Myers each added double-digit performances for the Lions (4-5). Myers registered 14 points and Bourquin tallied 13 in the win.
Behrend took a four-point lead into the second half, never trailing and using a 13-3 run to take the double-digit lead for the victory.
Eagle and Myers combined for 11 points during the run that gave the Lions the lead for good. Eagle started it off with a triple and Myers worked the ball inside the paint for six points.
In the first half, each team got a taste of a small lead. Behrend took early 9-2 lead but the Terriers tied the game at 9-all and six-point advantage with 5:56 left to play. The lions were able to knot the game at 21 and Eagle drained a three-pointer for a 25-21 edge.
Behrend returns to action on Wednesday at D'Youville, beginning at 6 p.m.
