Dabrowski, Konieczki Set For Nationals

GENEVA, Ohio – Harborcreek natives Dan Dabrowski (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) and Brandon Konieczki (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) will represent the Penn State Behrend men's track & field team at the at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday, May 22^nd at SPIRE. Dabrowski competes at 10:30 a.m. in the discus, followed by Konieczki at 2:30 p.m. in the long jump.

News & Notes:

* Dabrowski tossed a new school/meet record of 174-11 at SUNYAC Outdoor Championships to claim fourth in all of Division III the discus
* The fifth-year thrower is making his fourth straight trip to Nationals and is searching for his fourth career All-America honor
* Last year, Dabrowski earned his best finish at Nationals with a fifth-place throw of 170-0
* His previous finishes also include sixth in 2023 and eighth in 2022
* For the second straight time this season, Konieczki broke the long jump record with a distance of 24-1 ¾ to win the event at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships
* This jump propelled him into a tie for eighth nationally to notch his first appearance to Nationals
* Konieczki and Dabrowski are looking to become the 25^th and 26^th All-Americans in program history
* The top 22 student-athletes in each individual event were accepted to the NCAA Championships
* The top-eight finishers in each event will earn All-American honors
