ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Penn State Behrend men's track & field team competed at St. John Fisher's Cardinal Last Chance Invitational on Sunday.
Key Moments:
* Sophomore Nicolin Pierce (Erie, PA/McDowell) won the 800m with a regional qualifying and career best time of 1:55.17
* Tim Hamilton (Winchester, MA/Winchester) was victorious with a personal best time of 9:50.06 in the 3000m steeplechase
* In the 110m hurdles, Dominic Marino (Girard, PA/Girard) finished with a time of 15.74 for second place
* Jake Egizio (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) (21.93) and Jake Nardozza (Harrison City, PA/Penn-Trafford) (22.86) placed third and 10th in the 200m
* Thrower Braden Balaski (Mercer, PA/Mercer) scored a personal record of 165-10 for fourth in the javelin, while Alex Cotton (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) (141-0) and Ryan Visosky (Erie, PA/McDowell) (127-10) registered sixth and ninth in the discus
* Cotton also went on to claim fifth in the shot put (46-10 3/4)
