Ciocco Named AMCC Player of the Week

ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend baseball senior Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) was selected the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week for the period running from April 21-27.

Ciocco slashed .609/.654/1.130, as he hit 14-for-23 with six doubles, two home runs, 10 runs scored and 19 RBI in six games played. He recorded multiple hits in five of the six games with three hits in three contests.

Ciocco finished with a combined nine hits and 11 RBI in doubleheader sweeps at Hiram and Fredonia on Tuesday and Wednesday. In a game two win at Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday, he went 3-for-4 with a game-high five runs batted in.

The Lions are scheduled to play five games at home this week.
