Nikki Frisbee Gailey was a dynamite front runner for the Penn State Behrend women’s soccer team from 2005-08. She was a four-time All-AMCC selection, landing on the firsNikkt team three out of her four years. In 2006, Frisbee was named to the Great Lakes All-Region team. The following year, she tallied 12 goals and four assists for 28 points to be named the AMCC Player of the Year. Frisbee led the Lions to back-to-back AMCC Championships in 2006 and 2007. She graduated ranked second in career goals (39), second in career assists (23) and second in career points (101). She is still in the Top 5 in each category.

 

Frisbee proved to be a high-level goal scorer and offensive threat immediately upon arriving at Behrend. In her freshman campaign, she scored 11 goals and racked up seven assists to earn Second Team All-AMCC honors. The Lions produced a 14-3-4 record and a perfect 7-0 regular-season conference record. The team advanced to the ECAC Tournament after finishing as runners-up in the conference tournament.

 

Frisbee’s offensive firepower in her sophomore year proved to be key in helping the Lions win the first of two AMCC Titles in her career. She scored eight goals, including four game-winners, while also dishing out eight assists. As a team, the Lions posted a 14-6-1 record with an 8-1 conference mark. Frisbee was named First Team All-AMCC and Second Team Great Lakes All-Region.

As a junior,  Frisbee set career highs for goals in a season (12), making a difference in the second straight AMCC Championship for the Lions. The team went 11-7-3 and 8-0-1 in conference play. Frisbee was named the AMCC Player of the Year and a First Team All-AMCC selection. She continued to shine through her senior year, netting eight goals and handing out four assists for 20 points. She capped her career by landing on the All-AMCC First Team for a third time.

 

After being ranked second in career goals, assists, and points upon graduation, Frisbee currently ranks fifth in each of those categories. 

 

She earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering in 2010. She received her masters degree in engineering management from Gannon University in 2012. Frisbee currently lives in Erie, PA and is in the process of obtaining her PhD from Gannon.
